The Squalematic 60ATM echoes the great Squale designs of the past. While it honors tradition with its classical aesthetic, its 44mm-diameter size has a more contemporary feel.
The Squalematic 60ATM features well-known Squale traits like the unique and highly distinctive "von Büren" case shape with a signed screw-down crown at the four o'clock position. The crown is slightly recessed and thus well protected against unwanted impact.

Due to the recessed crown and the refined flowing design of the polished case, the watch is exceptionally comfortable to wear.
The distinctive steel markers and the use of Superluminova provides excellent legibility in low-light situations.
The smooth, coin-shaped 60 clicks uni-directional bezel with enamel inlay, partners well with the orange minute hand providing crucial, at a glance, information on remaining or elapsed dive-time. The enamel bezel inlay features steel markers which are hand set in the enamel and painted with Superluminova to provide perfect legibility.

The scratch-resistant domed double convex sapphire crystal is enhanced with anti-reflective treatment on both sides and protects this timepiece up to 600 meters below sea-level or 60 atmosphere of pressure.
The double-domed sapphire crystal gives it a perfect retro look and feel, adding to the uniqueness and special character of the Squalematic. The reason for choosing this double-convex sapphire lies in the perfect legibility, free from blurring and optical distortions like magnification.
